Support for our families, carers and community

At Highfield Farm Primary School we believe that families, parents and carers of our pupils should feel as included and supported by the school as their children are. All the staff at our friendly school will make you feel welcomed, will listen to you, no matter how small your concern, worry or circumstance.

By supporting the parents, families and carers, we are supporting the child to get the best experience from their education and home life.  Our role in school is to provide support, advice and information to families and to listen to any concerns you may have about your child's education, behaviour or wellbeing.

Our breakfast club

We know that mornings can be ever so busy and rushed. In order to make things a little easier, we run a wonderful breakfast club every day from 7:45 onwards. For a small cost, the children will be given a nutritious breakfast and have access to an array of activities. Mrs Fenton always welcomes the children with warmth and is supported by school staff, making the children feel comfortable and safe with known adults. This is the perfect start to the day!

If you would like to reserve a place for your children at our breakfast club, please come and speak to a member of the school office.

The Highfield Farm Champions

Our school is incredibly lucky to have the support of members of the community that go above and beyond to provide the little extras for our children. From raising funds to organising whole school events, the HFP champions are an integral part of our school community partnership. They are community members that support those within the community.

If you would like to get involved with the Highfield Farm Champions, please come and speak to Mrs Mackinnon or Mrs Thompson in the school office.

Rotherham Family Hub

Rotherham Family Hubs are a one stop shop for family support. They are an amazing service that may be able to support you and your family in so many ways.

Rotherham Parents and Carers Forum

A registered charity run by and for families of children and young people (aged 0-25) who have Special Educational Needs and/or Disabilities (SEND).

We work in partnership with service commissioners and providers, sharing knowledge and experience of families to help plan and develop the quality, range and accessibility of provision, creating better outcomes for families through participation and co-production.

Rotherham Parenting Hub

Being a parent is rewarding, however sometimes we all need practical advice and support. At the Evidence Based Parenting Hub we deliver a variety of parenting programs ranging in age from 0-19 years (up to 25 years for young people with an additional need)

These evidence based programs are based on international research into what works for children and families and have a variety of options to suit families, we believe when it comes to parenting one size doesn't fit all & that small changes can make a huge difference.
